Summer Literacy Challenge

All children are invited to participate! Registration will be available both online and in each Douglas County Library branch. Each child will receive an activity log, calendar of events, and book-mark when registering at the public library. Complete a variety of literacy activities and record the activity number on your log. Once your log is filled (25 activities) please return it to the public library and receive a prize. Children who complete 2 logs (50 activities) will receive a gold medal at the public library's end of summer awards ceremony. Save those logs and bring them to Mrs. Harbin the first week of school and you will be invited to a Summer Reading Celebration!

Please click here for more information, a copy of the reading log or to register. Registration will begin after May 22.
